Current Charity Work
As a motor club one of our most important ideals is giving back to the community. From volunteer work, to working with local charities to raise money, we do our best to show the communities around us we are here for them. Here below are a few projects we have worked on and are still currently working on.
Feed My Starving Children
Feed My Starving Children" (FMSC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing global hunger by providing nutritious meals to children and families in need. Several times a year we have events at our local FMSC and pack meals for kids overseas in need of nutritious food and also donate money to assist in paying for the food we pack.
DOT Adopt A Highway
The "Adopt-A-Highway" program is a community-based initiative that involves volunteers in the maintenance and beautification of stretches of highways. Metal Militia Motor Club has adopted the highway in front of a well-known local meet-up spot for car enthusiasts and we have ensured that the highway is kept in the best possible conditions. Several times a month the highway is checked on by the leadership of the club and cleaned.
Bringing Support To The Less Fortunate
Gathering food and supplies for the less fortunate is a community-driven effort aimed at addressing the basic needs of individuals experiencing hard times. We come out as a group to bring the supplies and occasionally host a cookout where we ensure everyone at the locations we stop at don't go hungry and is fed for that day.
Boosting Small Business Revenue
By us hosting car meets, buisnesses tap into a niche market, create a vibrant community atmosphere, and potentially turn one-time visitors into regular customers. The car meets bring people from all around the surrounding areas to discover a spot they may otherwise would of driven right past.
